Building future leaders

One of the best things you can do to attract young people is to give them a taste of what it’s like to work at your organization.

Our team was given an opportunity to visit ITE West campus to connect with their students from the Asian Culinary Arts and Pastry & Baking faculties. Through the sharing sessions from our Group CEO, Head of HR and General Manager, the students learnt about the multitude of career and internship options in our organisation.

In order to provide students fresh insights into the F&B industry, our chefs from Din Tai Fung and BreadTalk baker (an alumni from ITE) gave the students an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse of their work life. Our team shared the precise steps in achieving the 18 intricate folds on the award-winning Xiao Long Bao, the making of Yammy Croissants from BreadTalk Mother’s Day collection and concocting the refreshing Punched Lemon Tea from Food Republic.

Students went on a delicious culinary adventure through the fun hands-on activities which gave them the opportunity to learn the tips and techniques from our team. Not only can students enjoy indulging in their own culinary creations, but they also learnt how to work together and communicate more effectively.

We are excited to be part of the students’ journey of learning and discovery. Thank you Institute of Technical Education for granting us this opportunity to educate and expose students to different career possibilities!
